The North Alabama International Trade Association's (NAITA) 25th Anniversary World Trade Gala Celebration will be held on September 25, 2008, at the new Davidson Center for Space Exploration, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, in Huntsville. Please make plans to attend this exciting event that will launch NAITA's next 25 Years! The event, held under the Saturn V rocket - one of America's 7 Wonders - will include a special reception, dinner, and trade awards, along with some fabulous prizes.

David Sanger, Chief Washington Correspondent for The New York Times, will provide the keynote address on "How Technology & Global Competition are Changing America." Mr. Sanger, a senior writer for The Times,  has reported from New York, Tokyo and Washington, covering a wide variety of issues surrounding foreign policy, globalization, nuclear proliferation, Asian affairs and, for the past five years, the arc of the Bush presidency. Twice he has been a member of Times reporting teams that won the Pulitzer Prize. Mr. Sanger is a thoughtful and engaging speaker with a knack for explaining complex issues and placing current events in historical context, all with a sense of humor.
